Throughout the years, she has had a pivotal role in their "impossible is nothing" and "you've got this" campaigns, serving as a beacon of inspiration and empowerment for women worldwide.
Beyond the athletic component, Sarah loves to show off her fashion flair with the help of Adidas while sporting their latest streetwear and classics.
In August 2023, history was made as EA Sports announced that Sarah would be on the cover of their NHL23 video game.
As the first woman to be a cover star in hockey, this partnership allows young girls to believe that there is a place for them in hockey and teaches young boys that women belong in the sport. Sarah continues to work with EA, serving as an ambassador for yearly game launches.
CCM has been synonymous with high performance hockey players for over 100 years, creating new and innovative products to elevate the game. Unfortunately, women were often wearing products that didn’t fit right or hit them correctly.
With the feedback from Sarah and her teammates, CCM committed themselves to developing the first ever all-women’s hockey equipment line.
The FTW line launched in 2024 with Sarah serving as the face in Canada, truly revolutionize the women’s game.
One of Sarah’s earliest memories surrounding hockey includes Tim Hortons with her grandfather after games. A Canadian staple, Sarah was thrilled to partner with the brand. Through their partnership they have worked on many special projects but nothing tops her launching her own Barbie.
With girls often underrepresented in youth hockey, this limited edition hockey doll was designed to show girls that they belong in hockey just as much as the boys do.
Canadian Tire has a long-standing history of supporting and promoting gender equity and inclusion in sport. Through Sarah’s partnership with the brand they look to grow the game at a grassroots level, provide new opportunities for young girls and helping to grow the game of hockey.
The partnership expands to SportChek and their Jumpstart Initiatives, giving Sarah the opportunity to connect with so many young girls.
Sarah is a proud ambassador for Chevrolet’s Good Deeds Cup, a program where Chevrolet looks to reward minor hockey teams that make the biggest impact in their community.
As Sarah has risen through the ranks she has always made giving back a priority and partnering with Chevrolet for such a great initiative allows her to show youth players that regardless of their play on the ice, they need to show respect and support off the ice.
This partnership supports Sarah’s hope of improving hockey culture.
RBC has had a special play in Sarah’s heart for a long time - her grandmother worked there for 20+ years and it was the first bank she ever used. So of course it was a full circle moment when she had the opportunity to join their RBC Olympian program.
